Embark on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant and chaotic lanes of Old Delhi, home to the largest and most iconic spice market in North India. This immersive experience will transport you into the very soul of Delhi’s rich culinary culture, where the air is thick with the heady aroma of spices, and the streets pulse with energy and life.

As we navigate the narrow, bustling lanes, I’ll guide you through the intricate world of spices, showing you how to choose the freshest and most aromatic varieties, and introducing you to traditional utensils that are essential to Indian cooking. We’ll make a stop at a famous "chai walla" for a refreshing cup of masala chai, soaking in the sights and sounds of this historic marketplace.

For the truly adventurous, we’ll head to the legendary Paranthe Wali Gali, a lane famous for its delectable stuffed parathas. You can savour these street delicacies right in the heart of Old Delhi, or, if you prefer a quieter setting, we’ll head back to my home where you can enjoy these parathas in a more relaxed, intimate atmosphere.

This spice market trip is not just about shopping—it's a sensory adventure through one of India’s most fascinating culinary hubs. With its vibrant atmosphere, rich history, and mouthwatering food, this experience will stay with you long after you leave Delhi.

DETAILS

STRUCTURE: The classes start with an introduction of the concept in focus, followed by meal preparations and at last a delicious meal for everyone to relish. The menus for each class will focus on teaching how to cook an entire meal that comprises of atleast 5 - 6 easy to make dishes.

RESOURCES: All that the participants need to carry along is their apron. All ingredients and traditional tools used to prepare the dishes will be provided.

TIME: Cooking lessons can be fixed during any days of the week subject to availability and prior notice. The duration of the class will be approx. 3 hours which will include the cooking period as well as a meal to enjoy that ends the class on a sumptuous note. 

FEES & PAYMENT: Rs. 3,500 per person. The payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash at the time of the class. The details for the bank transfer will be shared once confirmation for a class is received.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation is accepted up to 3 days prior to the date of the cooking class. If you need to reschedule the class, this will be based on my availability.

Please note that your reservation will only be confirmed once payment has been received. In the event of a cancellation within 3 days of the supper club or a no-show, a refund will not be possible
